How could your trip to Rome look?
It’s important to remember that all our itineraries are tailor-made. There’s no fixed itinerary, every trip is different. That said, we know it’s helpful to see how your time away could look, so here’s a sample itinerary to get the ideas flowing.
Day 1
Departure day! You’ll travel by plane and have the evening to check in, as well as time to enjoy some free time to explore the local area.
Day 2
Start your day by visiting the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and the Roman Forum, where you can immerse yourself in the rich history of ancient Rome! Spend a relaxing afternoon in Villa Borghese, enjoying the beautiful gardens and tranquil surroundings, and explore the iconic Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. End the day with a fun bowling night.
Day 3
Enjoy a soft rafting adventure on the Aniene River in Subiaco. In the afternoon, take a self-guided walk around the Medieval town of Subiaco, immersing yourself in the stunning nature of the Simbruini Mounts Regional Park! You can also visit the picturesque Saint Benedict Pond and Waterfall or explore the Benedictine Monastery built into the rock, home to the sacred St Benedict Sacred Cave.
Day 4
Begin your day by learning the art of combat at the Roman Gladiator School, where you’ll discover the skills of the legendary gladiators! Spend your afternoon exploring the Vatican City, where you can marvel at the grandeur of St. Peter’s Basilica!
Day 5
Then it’s time to transfer back to the airport for your flight home!
