How could your trip to Toronto, Canada look?
Like all Venture Abroad activity holidays, you can tailor your time away to suit your youth group. However, we know it’s useful to see how your time away could look, so here is a suggested itinerary.
Day 1
Fly from the UK to Toronto. Settle into your hotel, then head out to explore the local area.
Day 2
Soar through the Maple trees at the Tree tops in Stouffville, where you can zipline, walk on tightropes, and cross aerial bridges in this thrilling forest adventure! Then, spend some free time exploring Toronto.
Day 3
There’s no better view of the city than from the main observation level of the CN Tower, a whopping 346m above ground, reached in just 58 seconds by high-speed lifts. Once you’ve got your feet back on the ground, head to Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada. In the afternoon, stand-up paddleboard to the islands.
Day 4
Board a ferry and take a day trip to Centre Island, where you’ll find a sandy beach, Franklin’s Children’s Garden, a pier that extends into Lake Ontario.
Day 5
It’s time to head on a guided day trip to Niagara Falls where you’ll experience the falls from almost every angle with the Hornblower Cruise, Journey Behind the Falls, Niagara’s Fury and White-Water Walk.
Day 6
Visit the adrenaline-filled Wonderland Theme Park where you’ll get to ride record-breaking coasters, drop towers, and more!
Day 7
After a long day yesterday, you’ll enjoy a day at leisure today. Guide groups could see the Guiding Headquarters located in the city.
Day 8
It’s time to head home as you board your flight back to the UK.
