Scouting is more than a hobby, it’s for young people to make new friends, see the wider world and master new skills. Our activity adventures aim for Scouts to have new experiences in new places, whether it be being away from loved ones for the first time to visiting a new country. Your Scouts will be given space to build their confidence and resilience away from the comfort of their home in new environments they may not typically be accustomed to.

By visiting new countries, it gives the Scouts insight into different cultures and how they work. Broadening young people’s horizons can increase their global curiosity as they will be fully immersed in the destination’s way of life. They will get to try new food, participate in new customs and meet new people. These adventures can nurture their interests and social responsibility by highlighting the importance in learning about the world around them whilst having a fun time doing so!
