Located on the Sliema promenade, the Plaza Regency Hotel offers amazing views that look over the stunning Balluta Bay. It’s a great base to explore the magnificent island of Malta due to its location near the bustling centres of Sliema and St Julians, and it’s also close to excellent public transport links, perfect to use to get around the island.
The restaurant offers a breakfast buffet-style restaurant and two pools to relax by after a busy, activity-filled day. Each room has Wi-Fi, conditioning, and its own bathroom, as well as a TV, making your stay relaxing and comfortable.
Soreda Hotel
Tucked away in a tranquil pocket of Malta between St. Paul’s Bay and Bugibba, the Soreda Hotel offers a peaceful setting while keeping seaside promenades, restaurants, and shopping in close proximity. You’ll also be near all the action and adventure your heart desires!
This hotel has an outdoor pool and sun terrace, great for cooling off from a day of wild excursions! It also has standard hotel amenities such as a private bathroom and Wi-Fi, as well as air conditioning. A variety of food is available, including a buffet-style restaurant with a variety of international dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring all members of the group are taken care of.

How could your trip to Malta look?
Like all Venture Abroad activity holidays for youth groups, you can tailor your time away to suit your group – however, we know it’s useful to see how your time away could look, so here is a suggested itinerary to help get you started.
Day 1
Flight to Malta from the UK, transfer and settle into your accommodation and explore the local resort
Day 2
Start your day with breakfast at your hotel, morning of Kayaking followed by an afternoon of stand-up paddleboarding and snorkelling in the crystal-clear water of the Mediterranean Sea. Then, you’ll head back to the hotel for a tasty evening meal.
Day 3
Wake up and have breakfast at the hotel before heading out to the Splash Waterpark, where you’ll spend the whole day making waves! In the evening, spend time relaxing and eating at your hotel.
Day 4
After breakfast, get ready for an action-packed day as you head off rock climbing and ziplining! By then you’ll be ready to head back to the hotel for your evening meal
Day 5
After breakfast time for another day brimming with exploration, with a guided visit to the South of Malta; this includes exploring the village of Marsaxlokk and a Blue Grotto Boat trip. Return to the hotel for your evening meal.
Day 6
After breakfast a morning visit to Malta’s National Aquarium in the afternoon time for fun and adventure at the Popeye Village with evening meal at your hotel.
Day 7
Have breakfast and travel to the airport for your return flight to the UK and travel home.
