Our internal team, working behind the scenes, and our resort reps, working on site in destinations like the ever-so picturesque Adelboden and larger than life KISC, have had a cracking summer – just look at these happy faces! Adelboden
Switzerland has our hearts!
Experience the unparalleled natural beauty of Adelboden – a place where magnificent mountainous views meet adrenaline-pumping activities!
Here, groups embrace the breathtaking highs of scenic cable car rides alongside the thrilling lows of abseiling down dramatic cliff faces. They conquer the rapids of roaring rivers and fully immerse themselves in the richness of Swiss culture.
Urmston and District Scouts
Urmston Scouts went up the Schilthorn to take in the incredible 360° views of the Alps, they visited the James Bond Museum and even braved the walkway!
They made the most of National Swiss Day – with lots of celebrations, performances and fireworks, and the energy was just electric! From yoga and gorge walking to the adrenaline pumping action of the Adelboden Adventure Park – they made their summer count!
Aberdeen Guides and Rangers
Aberdeen Guides and Rangers couldn’t visit Adelboden without making a stop at the WAGGGS World Centre, Our Chalet – talk about a bucket list experience!
A guided tour revealed pinch me panoramic views and inspiring stories rooted in Guide tradition. And the pinning ceremony – what an incredible moment for the group!
Belgium
Warm, welcoming and ‘wow’ moments
Belgium packs hearty history and some seriously exciting activities. The best part? It’s only a short hop away – less travel, more adventure!
Groups get to enjoy exciting day trips to Bruges, Brussels, Leuven and even Ypres. And the food… The artisan chocolate, the waffles, the insanely crispy fries (the trick is to fry them twice!) – unreal!
38th Rossendale Scouts
Their itinerary was a perfect blend of heart-rendering history and action-packed adventure!
They took to lush forest and rolling hills for orienteering and BMX biking. They travelled back in time to WW1 with visits to world-famous memorials and trench sites like Sanctuary Wood and Menin Gate – and they even had the opportunity to lay a wreath at the Last Post Ceremony.
They made a splash at Aqualibi Water Park, practiced their precision with an archery session, and even ventured to Disneyland Paris© for some truly magical moments. Talk about making the most of a trip!
KISC
World-famous for good reason
KISC offers Scouts the ultimate mini jamboree experience!
Groups have the opportunity to meet young people from a variety of different backgrounds, cultures and nationalities and get involved in exciting activities that celebrate the Scout spirit in style. Great experiences in the great outdoors are a guarantee!
1st Langford Village Scouts
The captivating camaraderie, the incredible selection of activities and excursions, and the spectacular scenery – this place is buzzing from morning till night! Workshops, international campfires, hikes, BBQs, and some seriously spectacular sunsets – 1st Langford Village Scouts had it all!
They challenged themselves, made new friends and their jam-packed itinerary did not disappoint. High ropes courses, rafting, seriously scrumptious food, the excitement, the exploring – it was one for the books!
