The Dolomites and Lake Garda

Renowned for its adventurous activities and epic water sports, the Dolomites and Lake Garda offer the ultimate alpine adventure! Action-packed days await among picturesque landscapes and beyond. Embark on thrilling excursions like rafting down the Noce River or mountain biking around the stunning Lake Molveno or ascending into the clouds on a cable car. The Dolomites and Lake Garda provide the perfect mix of adrenaline-fuelled activities and moments of relaxation. Kayak, hike or slip, slide and swim as you canyon through some of the most beautiful scenery in Europe!

For those interested in history, why not visit some important locations from the First World War, from the clashes between the Italian and Austro-Hungarian armies, to discovering secret caves once used by stationed soldiers? Travel even further back in time to the Middle Ages to visit majestic castles or explore forts that played a role in the Second World War.

An adventure trip to the Dolomites and Lake Garda is the time to experience the unique blend of Italian, Austrian and Ladin culture. Wander through quaint villages of timber, decorated with flowers, and join in their festivities, art and crafts. It truly is filled with postcard-worthy moments!

Why were the Dolomites and Lake Garda added as a destination?

We saw an incredible opportunity to add the Dolomites and Lake Garda as a destination due to their reputation for adventure and action-packed activities. It’s a popular destination amongst hikers, mountain bikers and explorers, so we had the idea to develop something for youth groups, and with our existing contacts for skiing in the Dolomites, it was a natural addition. This destination is easily one of the most identifiable and unique mountain ranges in Europe and pairing it with Lake Garda creates an itinerary that has a great mix of mountain and water sports activities.
